How to Use the SolumeCore AI Copilot on Your Server
The AI copilot reads your server's console and files, explains what is wrong and proposes fixes you apply with one click. Learn how to use it safely.
The SolumeCore AI copilot is a chat built into the page of each of your servers. It reads the console, the logs and the files of that server, explains in plain words what is going on, and proposes fixes. It never changes anything by itself: every change appears as a card that you review and apply with one click.
The copilot is not on for every account. If you do not see a Copilot button on your server page, it is not enabled for you yet. This article explains how to check, and how to use it when it is there.
Check that the copilot is available
- Open one of your servers from All servers.
- Look for the Copilot button in the header of the server, next to the other actions.
The copilot works on game servers, apps and VPS. It does not appear for web hosting.
You will not see the button if:
- It is not turned on for your account or your plan.
- You turned it off yourself (see below).
- You are an invited user without enough permissions on that server.
Ask your first question
- Click Copilot. A side panel opens with the name of your server.
- Type a question in Ask about this server…, or click one of the suggestions, such as "Why did my server crash?", "Why is my server lagging?" or "Check my config for problems".
- Press Send. The copilot shows that it is looking into it, and you can click Stop at any time.
While you have a server open, you can also press Ctrl + K and choose Ask the copilot.
Good questions are specific: "Why did my server stop at 9 pm?", "Is there an error in the last logs?", "What does this line in my config do?". The more context you give, the better the answer.
What the copilot can do
For the server you opened, it can:
- Read. The status and metrics, recent activity, the console, searches in the logs, a crash analysis, lists of files and the content of a file.
- Propose changes. Starting, restarting or stopping the server, sending a console command, editing or creating files, making or restoring a backup, managing players, finding and installing plugins, changing
server.properties, running a scheduled task, or restarting a VPS. What it can propose depends on the type of server and on your permissions on it.
It only works on the server you opened. It cannot see other servers, change your billing, or touch your account.
Review and apply a change
When the copilot wants to change something, it shows a Proposed change card with what will be modified, and two buttons.
- Read the card. For a file edit, you see exactly which lines change.
- Click Apply to go ahead, or Discard to drop it.
- For file and configuration changes, a backup of the server is made first. If you see "Making the backup first", wait a minute and click Apply again.
The card then shows its result: Applied, Failed, Discarded or Expired.
AI can make mistakes. Read each proposal before you apply it, especially deletions, restores and edits to important files. Nothing changes until you click Apply.
Privacy and limits
- Values it finds that look like passwords, tokens or keys are hidden before the AI sees them, and the AI cannot ask you for them. Player IP addresses in logs are masked by default.
- There is a daily limit of questions. The counter shows how many you used, for example "3 of 25 today". The default is 25 questions every 24 hours, and the limit can differ by plan or account. When you reach it, the questions come back over the next 24 hours.
- If the copilot is paused for the day, try again tomorrow.
- It cannot fix everything. If the problem is about billing, an outage on our side or access to your account, it will suggest opening a support ticket.
Past chats, new chats and turning it off
- New chat starts a clean conversation. History lists your past conversations about that server, and you can delete one from the More options menu.
- To hide the copilot everywhere, open More options in the copilot and choose Turn off the copilot. Your past conversations are kept.
- To turn it back on, go to AI & copilot in the menu and switch on Show the copilot in my servers. That switch only appears when the copilot is available for your account.
The AI & copilot page is also where, in beta, you can connect your own AI tool to your servers with a token. That is a separate feature from the copilot.
FAQ
Is there a limit on how much I can use the AI copilot?
Yes, a daily limit of questions. The counter in the panel shows how many you have used. The default is 25 per 24 hours, and the limit can differ by plan or account.
Can the copilot delete my files or break my server?
It can only propose changes, and nothing happens until you click Apply. For file and configuration changes the server is backed up first, so you can go back.
Why do I not see the Copilot button?
It is not enabled for your account or plan, you turned it off, or you do not have enough permissions on that server. It also does not appear on web hosting.
Does the copilot replace support?
No. It is quick for diagnosing logs and configs. For anything else, our team is a ticket away.
