Link Your Discord Account to SolumeCore
Link Discord so our support assistant knows your services, their status and incidents that affect you. What it sees, what it doesn't and how to stop it.
When you link your Discord account to your SolumeCore account, the support assistant on our Discord knows who you are when you write to it: which services you have, what state each one is in and whether an incident or maintenance affects you. You don't have to look up your server ID or explain which plan you're on, so the answer comes faster and is more precise.
It takes a few seconds from your dashboard, you can switch it off whenever you like without unlinking anything, and the assistant never sees your personal data.
What you get by linking Discord
- Faster support. The assistant already knows which services you have. No need to paste codes or plan names.
- Your server's real status. It sees whether each service is active, installing, paused or suspended, and whether the machine it runs on is working normally.
- Incidents that affect you. If there is an incident or maintenance on your server's node or location, it tells you directly, with its stage.
- Only advice that applies. The assistant knows what each service can do. It won't ask you to check ports on a game server (its ports are already open) or to connect over SSH to web hosting.
- Sign in with Discord. The link also lets you sign in to SolumeCore with your Discord account.
How to link your Discord account
- Open dashboard.solumecore.com/account/discord. If you're not signed in, you're asked to sign in and then taken back to that page. You can also find it in the side menu, under More, as Discord support.
- Click Link Discord.
- Confirm it's you: with your password, your two-step verification code, a passkey or a code we email you, depending on what your account has.
- Discord asks you to authorise SolumeCore. Accept and you're taken back to the dashboard, with a message saying it's linked.
When you link from this page, Allow the Discord assistant to see my services is switched on. The page shows which Discord user is linked and since when.
A Discord account can only be linked to one SolumeCore account. If you see a message saying that account is already linked to another user, sign in to that other SolumeCore account and unlink it first, or write to us from a ticket.
What the assistant can and can't see
The assistant receives only what it needs to help you with your services.
| It can see | It never sees |
|---|---|
| The type of each service (VPS, VDS, game server, web hosting, app) | Your email, full name or phone number |
| The plan, location and status of each service | Your invoices, payments or any amount |
| When each service renews | Passwords, keys or access details |
| Incidents and maintenance that affect it | The IPs of your servers or your domains |
| The name you gave each server, without links, emails or addresses | Tickets, messages or anything from your billing |
| Your first initial followed by asterisks, and your language |
The same page has a preview with exactly what the assistant would receive right now, and a list of the last times it looked up your services.
Answers the assistant gives in a public channel can be read by other people. If you'd rather nobody else sees the status of your services, send it a private message.
How to stop sharing your services without unlinking
On the Discord page of your dashboard, switch off Allow the Discord assistant to see my services. From then on the assistant stops recognising you on your next question, but your Discord account stays linked and you can still sign in with it. To share again, switch it back on.
How to unlink Discord
- On the Discord page of your dashboard, click Unlink.
- Confirm it's you.
Once unlinked, the assistant stops seeing your services and you can no longer sign in with Discord. If Discord is your only way to sign in, the dashboard asks you to create a password first, so you never get locked out of your account.
FAQ
Does linking Discord give access to my server?
No. The assistant only reads the type, plan, location, status and renewal of your services, and the incidents that affect them. It can't start, stop or change anything, or see your files.
I already signed in with Discord. Does the assistant recognise me?
Not yet. For privacy, the assistant permission starts off even if you already had Discord linked to sign in. Switch it on from the Discord page of your dashboard.
Can I link several SolumeCore accounts to the same Discord?
No. Each Discord account links to a single SolumeCore account, so the assistant never shows someone else's services.
Can the assistant pay for or cancel something for me?
No. It only points you in the right direction: for example, if a service is suspended because of an unpaid invoice, it tells you to go to Billing in your dashboard.
