Reset a Forgotten Password on Your SolumeCore Account

Forgot your password? Request a reset link from the login page, pick a new one and get back into your panel. Plus what to do if the email never arrives.

If you forgot your SolumeCore password, click Forgot it? on the login page, type your account email and open the link we send you. On the next page you choose a new password and you are logged in. Your servers keep running the whole time.

Note

This guide is for the password of your SolumeCore account (the one you use to log in to the panel). The root password of a VPS and the password of a cPanel hosting account are separate credentials. See the related articles at the end.

Reset your password

  1. Go to dashboard.solumecore.com and click Forgot it?, next to the Password field. The Reset your password page opens.
  2. Type the email of your account and send the request.
  3. The page answers Check your email. For privacy it says the same thing whether or not an account exists for that address, so don't read anything into it.
  4. Open the email and click the link. It can take a minute to arrive, so look in spam too.
  5. On the New password page, type the new password twice. It needs at least 10 characters, and the strength meter helps you pick a good one.
  6. Click Save and log in. You go straight to your panel.

If your account has two-step verification, you still have to enter the code from your authenticator app, a backup code or your passkey after saving the new password. A link in your inbox is never enough to bypass it.

What happens when you reset it

  • The link works once and stays valid for 24 hours by default. Opening it a second time shows This link doesn't work.
  • Every open session is closed, on all your devices. You will have to log in again everywhere.
  • Long-lived access is revoked for safety: API keys, AI access tokens, the Discord bot link and the SFTP passwords and SSH keys of your game servers. Create the ones you still need again afterwards.
  • We email you a notice that the password was reset. If you didn't do it, contact us right away.

Warning

Programs that use one of your API keys or an SFTP password will stop working after a reset. This is intentional: if someone else had access to your account, a reset cuts them off completely.

Accounts created with Discord or Google

If you always log in with Continue with Discord or Continue with Google, you don't have a password yet. The same reset flow lets you create one, so you can also log in with your email, and use SFTP with your servers. Troubleshooting

The email never arrives

  • Wait a couple of minutes and check spam, promotions and any filters or forwarding rules.
  • Make sure you typed the same address you registered with. If you use more than one, try the others.
  • Don't send many requests in a row: the forms limit repeated attempts for about 15 minutes.

The link was already used, is incomplete (some email apps break long links, so copy the whole address) or is older than 24 hours. Click Ask for a new link and use the newest email only.

I no longer have access to that email

We can't reset your password without a link sent to your account's email. Contact us from a different email, explain the situation and our team will review it and check that it is really you before changing anything. Don't send passwords or codes in the message.

My account is locked or suspended

A closed or suspended account can't use a reset link. If you only got locked out after several wrong passwords, the lock lifts by itself after 15 minutes by default.

FAQ

24 hours by default, and it can only be used once. After that you need to request a new one.

Does resetting my password log me out everywhere?

Yes. All sessions are closed and API keys, SFTP credentials and other long-lived access are revoked, so nobody who had access keeps it.

I'm logged in and just want to change my password. Is that different?

Yes. If you remember your current password, change it from Profile & security without any email, see how to change your account email or password.

Can SolumeCore tell me my password?

No. We never see or store it in readable form, and we will never ask you for it. The only way back is a new one.
