Limits and Quotas by Product: Backups, API, Access
Limits for each SolumeCore product: backups, databases, ports, subusers, panel and API rate limits, and where to see your own limits in the panel.
SolumeCore limits fall into three kinds: limits set by your plan (how many backups, databases or ports you get), limits that are the same for everybody (a maximum number of scheduled tasks, for example), and rate limits that protect the platform from too many requests. This document lists the ones we could verify in the platform, product by product, and shows where to see your own numbers in the client panel.
We do not publish prices or the size of specific plans here: the live figures are on the plans page and in your panel. A value marked "default" is what the platform uses today when your plan does not say otherwise, and SolumeCore can change it.
How to read the tables
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| By plan | The number comes from the plan you bought. Your panel shows it as "X of Y". |
| Default | A platform setting. It applies when your plan does not define its own value, and the team can change it. |
| Fixed | A limit built into the product. It does not depend on your plan. |
| Off by default | The feature is switched off unless SolumeCore enables it for your service. |
Important: if a tab, button or quota described here is missing in your panel, that feature is not enabled for your service. Your panel always wins over this document.

Game servers
| Limit | Value | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| Backups stored | Number included in the plan; some plans include none | By plan |
| Backup retention policy | Up to 31 daily, 52 weekly and 24 monthly (suggested start: 7 daily and 4 weekly) | Fixed |
| Failed backup removal | Removed after 24 hours so it stops counting | Fixed |
| MySQL databases | Number included in the plan, never more than 20 | By plan |
| Extra ports | Included in the plan on top of the main port | By plan |
| Sub-servers (splits) | 3 per plan when the plan says nothing; each one (the main too) needs at least 512 MB of RAM and 1024 MB of disk; 0 means not allowed | Default and by plan |
| Test copy | Off by default. When on, a clone lives up to 3 hours with up to 2048 MB of RAM unless the plan sets its own hours | Off by default |
| Scheduled tasks | 20 per server, 10 steps per task, delays up to 900 seconds | Fixed |
| People with access | 25 per server, pending invitations included | Fixed |
| SFTP keys | 10 per server | Fixed |
| Deleted files in the trash | 7 days | Fixed |
| History and activity | 90 days | Fixed |
| Performance samples (TPS, crashes) | 30 days | Default |
| Name changes of the free game name | 3 per day | Default |
| Own domains connected | 3 per server; 0 turns the feature off | Default |
| Saved Minecraft server templates | 20 per account | Fixed |
| Migrations from another host | 1 at a time per server | Fixed |
Plan numbers are read, not guessed: the Backups tab says "X of Y", and at the limit you must delete a backup before creating another. Rotation can remove the oldest unlocked one for you, as explained in backups and retention. The game server panel guide describes each tab.
Apps and bots
| Limit | Value | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| Managed databases | Number and engines (PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB) come from the plan; memory and disk per database too | By plan |
| Backups per database | You choose, up to 14 by default | Default |
| Domains per app | 5, counting free subdomains and your own domains; 0 turns it off | Default |
| Releases kept for instant rollback | 3, besides the active and the previous one | Default |
| Health wait of a new release | 120 seconds, then the deploy fails and the current version keeps serving | Default |
| Console log retention | 7 days | Default |
| Backups, ports, scheduled tasks, shared access, SFTP keys | Same as game servers | Plan and fixed |
Zero-downtime deploys and the HTTPS proxy are only offered on servers that support them. See apps and bots hosting.
VPS and VDS
| Limit | Value | Kind |
|---|---|---|
| Manual backups | 2 per server unless the plan sets its own; off by default | Off by default |
| Snapshots | 2 at a time unless the plan sets its own; off by default | Off by default |
| Automatic backups | Up to 7 copies kept; off by default, and may be an optional add-on | Off by default |
| Extra IP addresses | Up to 15 per service; buying them yourself is off by default | Off by default |
| Extra disk per request | Up to 2000 GB when self-service disk is enabled | Fixed |
| Monthly transfer | Included amount from the plan; a notice at 80% of it, once a month | By plan |
| People with access | 25 per service | Fixed |
| Performance history | 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days | Fixed |
Beyond the 80% notice, what happens when included transfer runs out depends on your plan, so check its page before relying on a figure. See VPS vs VDS.
Web hosting
Limits come from the cPanel package of your plan: disk, monthly traffic, mailboxes, addon domains, subdomains, databases and FTP accounts. The panel shows live usage in the Your plan card, "used of limit" or "no limit" when the plan sets none. Two platform values also apply: the main domain of an account can be changed once every 24 hours by default, and hosting tools in the panel are rate limited (see below).
Your account
| Limit | Value |
|---|---|
| SSH keys | 30 per account |
| Passkeys | 10 per account |
| Webhooks | 10 per account by default (see webhooks and account events) |
| Integrations (Discord, Slack, Telegram, Teams, email, your own system) | 50 per account; each one has an hourly send limit, 60 by default |
| API keys | No fixed count found; each key works only from IP addresses authorized for it (see account API keys) |
| Ticket attachments | 5 images per message, up to 15 MB each (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF) |
| Invoice export | 100 PDFs per ZIP and 5000 rows per CSV |
| Open credit top-ups | 3 unpaid at a time |
| Migrations into SolumeCore | 2 at a time per account |
| Invitation links | Valid for 7 days |
When switched on by SolumeCore, there are more: a cart of up to 10 items, paying up to 20 invoices at once, and daily question limits for the copilot (25 by default) and the support assistant (10 by default). AI access tokens have a daily action limit you choose (100 by default, up to 2000).
Rate limits
Rate limits count requests in a time window. When you exceed one, you get HTTP 429. They are settings of the platform, so the numbers below are defaults.
Client panel and website (per IP address)
| Action | Default |
|---|---|
| All requests | 200 per 60 seconds |
| Sign-in, registration and 2FA | 10 per 15 minutes |
| Failed sign-in attempts | After repeated failures for the same email and IP address, a temporary block |
| Power actions (start, stop, restart) | 6 per 60 seconds |
| Firewall rule changes | 20 per 60 seconds |
| Hosting tools (mailboxes, databases, DNS records) | 30 per 60 seconds |
| Opening the browser SSH console | 10 per 60 seconds |
| Contact form | 3 per hour |
Sensitive account actions such as security settings have their own, tighter fixed limits.
Client API (per API key, per IP address)
| Category | Default |
|---|---|
| Reads (list and view services, view firewall) | 300 per 60 seconds |
| Power actions | 20 per 60 seconds |
| Firewall changes | 60 per 60 seconds |
Each response carries x-ratelimit-limit and x-ratelimit-remaining. When you are over the limit you get a 429 with a retry-after header in seconds. Two authorized IP addresses of the same key do not share a bucket. The team can set different limits on a specific key. See the Client API.

FAQ
How do I know how many backups my plan includes?
Open the Backups tab of the server: it shows "X of Y backups used". On a VPS or VDS the same count appears in Backups and Snapshots.
Can I get a higher limit?
Plan limits move with the plan: upgrade from the panel and you pay only the difference for the days left in the cycle. For platform limits, such as API rate limits on a key, open a ticket and explain what you need.
Why do I get a 429 error?
You sent more requests than the limit allows in the time window. Wait for the seconds in the retry-after header and slow down. See common errors and troubleshooting.
Are these numbers guaranteed?
No. They are the values found in the platform today and the team can change them. The figures in your panel are the ones that apply to you.
Do limits apply to people I invite?
Yes. Invited people use your service's limits, and the owner can invite up to 25 people per service, with pending invitations counted.
