Default Timelines: Renewal, Suspension, Retention

Every default time limit on SolumeCore: renewal notice, payment retries, suspension, cancellation, game server deletion, link expiry and data retention.

This page collects the default time limits of the SolumeCore platform in one place: when a renewal invoice is created, when a card charge is retried, when an unpaid service is suspended and cancelled, how long a game server is kept after cancellation, how long links, sessions, backups and logs last, and more. Every value comes from the platform settings or from the jobs that run in the background.

Important: these are defaults, not promises. SolumeCore can change most of them from its configuration, so the dates in your emails, your invoices and the client panel are the ones that apply to you. Values marked fixed are built into the product and do not depend on a setting.

How to read the dates

Billing runs once a day, so a step "on the due date" happens in the next daily run, not at an exact minute. Day 0 is the renewal date, which is also the due date of the renewal invoice. Cleanup jobs also run on a schedule (hourly or daily), which is why deletions can happen some hours after the nominal deadline.

Renewals and non-payment

Event Default How it applies
Renewal invoice created 3 days before the renewal date Every service. The invoice is due on the renewal date and you get an email.
Notice before an automatic card charge About 2 days before the charge Services that renew with a saved card. The charge is never later than 1 day before the due date.
Retries after a failed card charge After 24 hours, then 72 hours, then 168 hours A card declined for lack of funds waits at least 72 hours. With no saved card, each retry is another reminder.
Suspension On the due date, at the next daily run The service stops but is kept. Paying brings it back on its own.
Cancellation 15 days after suspension After this, paying old invoices no longer reactivates the service.
Game servers and apps deleted 5 days after cancellation Files, world and backups are removed permanently by a daily sweep; the port is released.
Web hosting accounts Not deleted automatically Deletion on cancellation exists but is off by default.
VPS and VDS Not deleted automatically The machine is stopped and its IP address goes back to the pool.
Upgrade invoice not paid Cancels itself after 48 hours It does not count as a debt.
Coupon use held by an unpaid order 24 hours (fixed) After that the use is released.

How to see the dates that apply to you

  1. Open Billing → Invoices & payments for due dates and the Renewals tab for the next renewal of each service.
  2. Read the emails about your invoices: they state the amount and the date.
  3. A suspended service shows a banner with a See invoices button.
  4. For anything else, open a ticket with the service name.

FAQ

How many days do I have to pay before my server is deleted?

With the defaults, a renewal is due on day 0 and the service is suspended on the next daily run. It is cancelled 15 days later. A game server or app is then deleted after 5 more days, so roughly 20 days after the due date. Other products follow different rules.

Can these dates change?

Yes. SolumeCore can change most of them. Use the dates in your emails and in the panel, and do not wait for the last day.

How long do I have to confirm my email?

The link lasts 24 hours by default, and an unconfirmed account is removed 48 hours after sign-up. If the link expired, request a new one from the sign-in page.

Do my backups survive a cancellation?

No. Backups go with the service and are deleted when the cancelled service is purged. Download what you need before a payment fails.

How long are old logs and history kept?

It depends on the type: 7 days for app console logs, 30 days for performance samples, 90 days for server history and status history. See the tables above.
